Some people have different recipes for longevity. For some, “cigars and brandy”. Others, ascetic self-denial. And for far too many, being “too mean to die”.
For both my maternal grandfather (who lived to be 90) and grandmother, I’d say it was the same diet: An irrepressible desire to learn more. About everything. All the time.
“Too curious to give up” is an excellent motto, and one I always endeavour to live by.
